St. Camillus will be a sustainable organization that serves as a model for excellence in fostering compassion and inspiring individuals to achieve their health, educational, and economic goals.


St. Camillus reaches out to those who are feeling abandoned, vulnerable and stigmatized and provides love, education, a supportive environment, and economic resources that enable individuals to achieve a happy, healthy, and productive life.


  1. Provide a warm and safe shelter, for orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) to keep them healthy, well-nourished, protected from abuse, and receiving the education they need while awaiting placement in an appropriate home.
  2. Provide income-generating opportunities for people living with HIV/AIDS (PLHIV) and at risk groups to help them achieve independent and productive lives.
  3. Provide guidance and education to the community’s home based caregivers to support their ongoing care of PLHIV and OVC including preventing HIV transmission, adhering to antiretroviral therapy, and improving overall health & wellness.
